[Summary]
This book is about an excellent horse called Black Beauty. When he was a young, he lived happily with his mother and other horses. Then, when he was 4 years old, he was sold to a very kind horse master, Squire Gordon. For the first time when he was put into saddles, bridles and other outfits, he felt very uncomfortable. However, he soon became to feel not so uncomfortable with the kind care from the Squire Family. Unfortunately, his happy life didn’t last so long. Since Mrs. Gordon became illness. Black Beauty, and other 4 horses, Merrylegs, Ginger, Lord and Lady Rich more were sold to different horse masters. Black Beauty’s fate was completely changed ever since the master was changed. He had to go through his different life and also had to stand punishments given by the new mean master. But he didn’t resist and he bore. Some time later, Black Beauty was sold to another master who was kind and his life was happily settled.
